Default Adel Clamp Tool

The issue before last of Sport Aviation has an article on making a tool to help get the washer and nut on a bolt through Adel Clamps. It is just a V cut in the end of an old hack saw blade. Once you get the clamp(s) squeezed down using pliers or vice-grips, you can slide the hack saw blade in so it engages the first exposed bolt thread above the Adel clamp. That will hold the clamp in it squeezed down position while you get the pliers out of the way to put the washer and nut on. Sure wish I would have known about this 5 or 6 years ago!

For Adel clamp tips, see this thread.

In fact, you might want to post your tip to that thread.

Default nut catapults

If you make them too easy to install, we can't call them nut launchers anymore

But seriously, Bill's tip from 2006 comes in very handy - I don't even try anymore without making a safety wire lasso. You will spend 2 minutes to save 20, plus a lot of agrevation.
