Default FAA LODA Guidance Updated...

Yesterday I received a letter from the FAA in response to participating in a letter writing campaign earlier this summer regarding the process of applying for a LODA (letter of deviation authority) concerning training in an experimental airplane.

The response was very positive with a thank you and a reference to an updated policy directive to local FISDOs.

If anyone is interested in the subject, here is where to go.
