Default Looking for old Sport Aviation magazines

I bought my RV-4 flying about a year ago. I got to thinking, I wonder if it was ever featured in Sport Aviation or the Experimenter magazine. My 4 was finished in 1986. Would any of you guys or gals have any of that vintage?
If needed, I could send pics to anyone that may have that issue, to compare. Or I could send the builders name.
Any help would be appreciated, I'd love to have this for "history" reasons. Hopefully he sent it in, and SOMEONE has a copy!
Thanks a LOT!

The Sport Aviation archives are available online for EAA members. If the registration number has been the same since new, perhaps you could search the archive for it, and at least that would give you a month and year to be looking for. If you don't find the registration, search for the original builder's name and/or eaa number, since in the current issue it looks like that information is included.
