Default Scenic Flight over Lake Murray in Oklahoma from McKinney, TX

What a day to hang out the window and take some shots! My good buddy (and rivet bucker) Norwood, took over the controls while I took these shots over the Red River in and Lake Murray in Oklahoma. I can't wait to take my RV in there.

Default Nice one!

Beautiful video, Smitty!! I would have enjoyed several more minutes of it, if you had made it longer. Thanks for posting this. It's very motivational.

I'm curious... what kind of plane were you flying in?

Thanks Bruce! This is my 1969 C172. I remove the screw in the window bracket that holds the window at a 45 degree angle, allowing it to swing all the up. Oddly enough, the wind keeps the window up all the way up for me while I'm shooting pics.

It won't be but a few short weeks until the trees start turning in southeast Oklahoma. The colors will make some beautiful flying.
