Question AV80R GPS Autopilot Interface

I just purchased an AV80R GPS and would like to have it interface with my Navaid autopilot. I also purchased the RS232 interface cable. The issue that I have is that I cut off the DB-9 connector to splice the interface cable to my smart coupler. I was wondering if anyone knows the color of the wire in the serial cable that is for Data out from the GPS. I know that it was pin 3 on the DB-9 connector. There are 4 wires red, black, white and green Thanks
