Default Fuel Tank: INBD end ribs assembly; MEK vs Acetone

Hi all,

I notice when I worked on the inboard end ribs for the tanks, there is a tooling hole in the aft, next to one of the platenut. I can imagine that hole will be a source of leakage, does anyone has any problem with that tooling hole?

Also, does anyone put any sealant between the rib and reinforcement ring? The manual specify sealant is not necessary between the two because the cork gasket will stop any leakage, does anyone has any problem in that area?

Lastly, can I use acetone instead of MEK for cleaning the tank for sealant application?

Many thanks!
Hank
