Fay sealing method
Greetings!
After much consultation with many fellow builders, I am planning to seal my tank by fay sealing method.
My understand is that, instead of rivet the parts together before the sealant cures, I cleco everything together with cleco in every single holes. Wait for it to cure and then final rivet them together.
My concern here is that, cleco doesn't hold the parts together as good as rivet, especially with those ribs being so tough to fit. If there is a small gap with the sealant cures, would that cause any problem with I final rivet the parts together?
Thanks!
Hank
