Default Formation Clinics

I've read many references to various formation clinics being offered by different groups around the country.

I fly day/night formation just about everyday during my day job but what requirements if any are there for civilians to fly formation? I don't see anything in the FARs?

Who governs the training? What credit given for military formation experience? Is there a certification process (which implies some form of governance)?

Thanks!

Ken

The information that I post is just that; information and my own personal experiences. You need to weight out the pros and cons and make up your own mind/decisions. The pictures posted may not show the final stage or configuration. Build at your own risk.

The gist is, if you want to make a formation pass at an "airshow", you must have an FFI card (or similar).

If you want to do some parade with the local buds, you must pre-arrange (brief) and go. Assuming you trust them!!

Hope your having a great time in Phase 1.
