Default Steins Eyeball Light

How did you mount Stein's Eyeball Light in the sidepost? Options would appear to be either the plastic housing on the inside or outside of the post. What hardware was used so that you had access after the post was riveted in place?

Default photo of my sidepost light installation

Sorry about the quality of photo - this was taken through the canopy. I mounted my eyeball lights on the sidepost with about a 3/4" hole behind the light and nutplates to attach the lights. The white switch on the back of the sidepost turns the light on/off.

My lights are mounted a little lower than optimal location. Above the light is a GPS RAM mount for my Lowrance 2000c.

Here is how I did mine. The outer screws use nutplates to hold the entire assembly in place for easy removal and access to wires. Hope this helps
