Best,
I appreciate the offer and will indeed take you up on it when I get my 40 hours done. I looked you up; only 309 miles from 20M.

Second, congrats on the extremely light weight of your 4, under 900 lbs! Wow!
Third, Good job buying Craig Catto's 2 blade. (I tested his first one on my 4 back in 99'), looks like it has come a long way, awesome!

For other RV4 builders who haven't had prop experience (I tried 5 on my RV4) There are a few tried and true experimental FP props I have experience with, tested and would buy again.

PS: I have some original RV4 wheel-pants I will send you for a very reasonable price!
I have a set of the pressure recovery pants but I wanted to be sure I stuck with the 380?s before I trim and fit them.

Default Thanks to everyone for all the encouragement!

I have only flown it 6.6 hours due to weather but it sure is a blast! I?m still working on getting the D-180 EMS/EFIS alarms, configuration, and calibration set up. I am also slowly squeezing the right wing to compensate for a heavy left one.

I?ve also spent a couple of hours lately getting to know its manners in the 3-point and wheel landing configurations. My opinion so far is it?s as easy as any aircraft I have ever flown. I did a few stalls on my 1st flight and many since. It?s sporty but seems to have very well mannered flying traits so far. No spins or acro yet but defiantly in the future.

I owned a Cessna 140 with a 0-290 for several years, so that?s my main comparison. I flew that old girl to OSH and LAL multiple times. Even across Medicine Bow once.

One more thing; I work strange and mostly long hours so it can be days before I get a chance to post a reply. I apologize if it looks as if I am ignoring anyone?s post.

I would be happy to take more pictures of the prop for you. Unfortunately, I will be working for the next eight days and nights but as soon as possible.
