Default Lycoming IO360 Engine Operation

I'm looking for info on engine limts and power settings as they would apply to the RV series and specifically the 8. I searched the lycoming website and the net, but all info I found for power settigs said read the POH for your aircraft. Well guess who made the POH for my aircraft...

Thanks for any info you have

You might look at the O-360 Operator's Manual available at Aero Sport Power:

Default Lycoming engine operation

This is by far the best information you'll find on how to operate your engine.

They give them out at OSH and Sun-N-Fun

Enjoy

Those are very good reading! Reading the Lycoming operating key reprint around page 43-45, they comment on the variations of power settings between the 172 and the Arrow. Are you guys just trying out power settings and saying hey, this works! and running it that way in your RVs?

My goal is to establish some safe for my engine, fuel efficient power settings for flying my RV.
