Default My -7 has holes in it !

Well, actually not my plane, but my panel. I have two extra 3 1/8" holes on my panel. I don't have any music input on my radio and I am looking for a way to play my ipod, or music while I fly.

Does anybody know if there is a mp3 player that is designed to fit in a 3 1/8" hole ?

Any help would be helpful.

Thanks,

Darren

do you have an intercom? You can use one of the extra channel inputs for your iPod.

My little mp3 player (like an iPod nano) is tiny enough to easily fit in a 2 1/4" hole. However, the tech on those players advances so fast I wouldn't want to install one permanently in my panel.

Default Ram mounts

You could put a blank cover on the 3 1/8 hole (either home made or Spruce has them preformed) and then mount an MP3 holder onto the hole cover. RAM-MOUNT.COM makes them for everything including MP3. I'm thinking the MP3 will mostly cover the hole. See...

good suggestions guys. Thanks. I will see how to access the extra channel on the intercom. I didn't know about the Apple mounts.
