Default Where to Buy Aeroquip 816 Fittings

I am fabricating some Aeroquip 601 hoses w/SS braid. This hose calls for Aeroquip 816 hose fittings (at least Spruce sez so!). I need 45 deg -8D fittings, but can't find a source. Spruce sells only straights and 90's. I want to use Aeroquip, not knock-offs such as Summit or Pegasus fittings. A related question, are the Aeroquip FBM series fittings equivalent to the 816 fittings? I believe the FBM fittings can be used on 601 hose. Thanks

Default fittings from summitt racing

I just made new fuel lines with 601/701 hoses and took someones advice on the forum and bought the fittings from Summitt. They are not the same... couldn't use them. the inside dia. of the fitting is much smaller than the aeroquip 816 fittings.... same old story... waisted time trying to save a few bucks and ended up getting the fittings from spruce anyway.

I'd buy them from Spruce if they had what I needed....I need the 45 deg fitting which is the 8846. Spruce only sells the 816 (straight) and the 8891 (90).
