Default Mounting Gretz GA-1000 Control Module

I'm working on my pitot install and was wondering if folks who have a Gretz installed the control module as is or enclosed it in a small project box or similar enclosure for protection?

I mounted mine to the wing nose rib where the pitot is mounted. Accessable
thru the inspection cover. I opted to only have the on/off option. I figure
if I need it on, it won't be warm enough to overheat!

Default One Way

Just One Way:

Project box mounted with screws and lock nuts through rubber chassis grommets for some isolation.

Good Luck!

Just put some nutplates on the rib to match the holes in the board, and you need some bushing/spacers to keep the board away from the rib. Where this is mounted, you'll be looking right at it through the access panel.

Guys thanks for the responses, but just to be clear, I'm not asking where or how to mount it, that's not an issue. I'm asking whether folks are leaving the circuit board exposed or enclosing it for protection of the electronics. Right now I think I'll enclose it as I don't like leaving the module exposed unless there's a reason it needs to be which the instructions don't discuss one way or the other.
