Default O-Ring Lube - Andair Fuel Valve

I'm installing the Andair fuel valve.

As most of you know, the input fittings can be rotated 270 degrees to point in 3 different directions. These require rubber O-Rings to seal the connection between the valve body and the fitting.

Andair suggests that you lube these O-Rings.

My questions is, "What's the right stuff to use?"

I have some O-Ring Lube that won't interact with rubber. It's Silicon based and I'm curious to know if that's acceptable? Will the Silicon react with the fuel or the valve body?

Curious to know what others have done and how long they've had it inside the valve.

Thanks,
Phil
