Default Tip-Up canopy Skin Overhang

Has anyone had the tip-up canopy skin overhang the top forward skin, as opposed to a butt-gap fit?..I could have sworn I saw some pictures of this type of approach, but can't seem to locate it..Does anyone see a problem with this type of approach...? The skin-catching problem is driving me to the asylum!
