Default QB quality

Hello,

Since Van´s moved QB production to a new facilty and started delivering
the "new" QB kits, How is the quality? Same? Improved?

Could any builders that have the new kits comment on this, please?
Any issues or flaws?

Thanks

Default Overall Good

I just got mine in March and overall, I'm pretty happy with the quality. I haven't found anything yet that I felt like I needed to do over. The biggest problem was they forgot to trim a couple flanges in the floor by the control sticks, and I had to trim in assembly, which was a bit of a pain, but not bad. Also, I wish they hadn't installed the baggage floor, as drilling it out was mildly traumatic, and you have to if you want steps.

Apparently the flaps are built in mexico (figuring from the "HENCHO EN MEXICO" sprayed on the side), and they were a different story. The primer coat inside the parts looks like it was applied in a sandstorm, all gritty and flaking off. Obviously they don't have anybody doing quality control. That said, they appear structurally sound...
