Fast Taxi RV-6A Fatal Accident (ID)
Be careful when you do your fast taxi testing, as this accident illustrates, it is dangerous:
http://www.ktvb.com/news/Plane-goes-...100782639.html
The plane appears to be an RV-6
My condolences to the family.

A suggestion.....
As a show of respect for our lost comrade and the tremendous loss his family is feeling, why don't we let this thread lie in peace for a few days before we launch into yet another round of discussions on the merits of particular planes, methods of test flying, and all the other stuff that gets rehashed when an accident like this occurs.
Thank you in advance,

condolences & prayers
My heart goes out to this man & his family.
This incident has particular importance to me because I'm taxi testing my
-9A right now.
I'd just like to know what the heck happened....

Dave, the news article may or may not shed light on the cause. Just make sure that you, the plane and weather conditions are all good to go.
