Default Sound Insulation

Found this interesting.. emailed tech support for Thermo-Tec - this was their response for their insulation properties:

The Thermo-Guard FR will
reduce 8db and the Suppressor
will reduce the same as the Super
Sonic 12db.

THANK YOU.

Thermo-Guard FR is the is the synthetic felt with foil heat barrier, and the other is a sound dampening mat. 12 db seems like a lot of sound reduction in an RV environment..

Default sound insultaion

Wow, I'm about done with canopy and will eventually want to add sound proofing. This looks like super material. I'll be interested to see what the guys who are already doing sound insulation have to say. thanks for sharing.
