Default Decoding tire size identifier

Vans' webstore has the tire size for the mains listed as, for example
5:00X5-6 Main Gear Tube

WHen I go to ACS to look for Michelin Airstop tubes, the closest match I find is
Michelin Airstop Tube 5.00 x 5

As you can see, ACS does not have the final "-6". Would the above two tires be interchangeable? What does the -6 mean on Vans' listing?

that -6 means it's a "6 ply tire" -- wouldn't apply to an inner tube.. so what you found will work.

Is the ply count what the "PR" column refers to in ACS's page for FCIII tires?
