Default VM1000 EMS problem Need Help
I have an RV-6A IO360 Carb CS with VM1000 (DPU w/Terminal). It has been working fine the last two years. Recently I've had some fluctuation in the Amp meter but on my last flight about two hours into a cross-country I smelled some electrical burning and my display went blank. There seems to be power going into the unit but no display. Contacted J.P. Instruments they were helpful telling me that if the 5VDC going to any sensor gets shorted to gnd a resistor inside the DPU will burn (Like a fuse).

Does anyone have a copy of installation manual / schematic or pinout?

Did you solve your problem? How? I got the funny electrical smell yesterday and my display works fine but no backlight.....anyone with similar problem?

Ebayer advertising repair...anyone have use him?

Any other reccomendations?

Anyones help is greatly appreciated!
