Default Anyone Flying Vetterman's Crossover Mufflers?

What installation issues did you encounter and what do you think of: performance, cabin heat? My RV-7 will get either the crossover w/heat muff on the starboard side (the usual set up), or, if it crams in, the muffler system with its supposedly far greater cabin heat output. Cowl clearance for heat shielding and engine movement is my biggest concern.
