Default Are horizontal stabilizers symmetrical top/bottom?

I'm working on an rv-6 kit I bought from another builder. He already built the horizontal stabilizer and this mornings project is to fit the elevator spars. I laid the stabilizer on my bench and realized that I don't know which side is up. Looking over the drawings it appears that either side can go up but I thought it a good idea to ask just to be sure before I start drilling holes.

Thanks, Eric

Don't know about the -6, but it's probably the same as for the -7 and -8. Have a look at the center of the front spar. There are reinforcement angles on the top and bottom, facing forward. They are not the same top/bottom.

Ah-ha! Yes they are different on the -6 too. I think that I would have missed that. Thanks for pointing it out.

Default Also there is a hole...
