XM WX and Music
DO you need separate XM radios to get music and weather on a 496 ?

Both music and weather are available on the 396/496/696, stereo music is output on the same audio plug as the warnings.

It's recieved by the same XM (hockey puck) antenna, and feeds simo into your 496, as Walt said (As long as you subscribe to both, of course). My subsription is for XM Radio and XM Aviator Lite...I just mention it so you can make sure you order both when you get your XM set up.
As also Walt said, don't leave home without it!!

Thanks Guys. Did not know if themusic porition would slow down wx updates either receiving or displayed.
