Need a Ride to Oshkosh from North Texas

I'm looking for a ride to Oshkosh from the North Texas area. Was hoping to have my RV-7A finished to make the trip this year, but you know how that goes. So if anyone had an empty seat and would like some help with gas, please let me know. I am very familiar with the arrival procedure also, having lived near OSH for many years and could help out with that also. Thanks!

Can I get some specifics.... where in Texas? How much do you weigh? approximate weight of baggage? Timeframe? .... and any other info you think is pertinent?
