How was Scappoose?

The weather was terrible Saturday around Seattle squashing my rental 152 Scappoose trip.

Dont take this as an official count, but I would guess around 50 or 60 RV's, maybe a few more. Normally we get around 100 or more. The weather north kept the usual Seattle area folks out of the event. I dont think any California folks where able to make it up either.
We where able to get 10 ships in the air for a formation demo and it was well received. I believe pics are being put together and I am sure there will be some follow up posts.

The weather wasn't the best but it turned out being a great day. Jon took me for a ride in his RV-6 during the formation demo. It was my first flight in an RV and it was awesome! I'm hooked now and I cant wait to get out of school and start the build. Here's a few pictures.
