I'm getting ready to go on a long cross-country and am always looking for corners and places to stash stuff in the RV where it is accessible but out of the way. And I haven't done any modifications recently, so came up with the minor mod shown in the photos below. This makes some of the armrest space that is normally unusable into a place to put a water bottle, maps, or whatever. It's a simple couple bends in some leftover Al (always looking for a use for leftover Al!). I made two of these out of 0.032, one for each armrest. They screw on (I just tapped the holes for 6-32 screws so can easily be modified or removed if desired.
