Anybody have a BRS system installed or plan on installing? Any experience/ pros/cons, etc.

Brs
Yes,
I put one in my 7A.
Total weight was about 40 lbs.
Total weight of aircraft was less than many 7s w/ cons. speed props.
I'm building a 10 now and putting one in it too.
I'm in Murphysboro, Southern Illinois.

Interesting mod. What rate of descent is predicted under the chute, assuming you were at max gross weight?
What needs to be done to the seats to ensure the spinal loads on impact are acceptable?
How were the attachment points on the airframe tested to ensure they will withstand the limiting deployment loads?
What is the airspeed range at which the chute is cleared for deployment?
What is the minimum altitude to get a successful deployment?

Chad,
We've got a couple 7s in the works down here in Southern Illinois.
You'll have to fly down when your's is completed.

You can find info on my install at http://rvparachutes.com
I worked with the brs engineers on the install.
I have the BRS 1800 (for 1800 lbs. max) 175mph max deployment speed.
Rate of descent 15 feet per second.
I put head rests on my seats mainly for looks.
BRS says it's the same sink rate as the ultralights which have deployed with no seat cushions and they came out ok.
I hope I never need it but if I do I figure I've got about 4 in. of foam
and a couple of feet of gear to help absorb the impact.
You can find max deployment speeds at : http://brsparachutes.com/flash/BRS6July05.htm
