Default What is this connector
Went to wire up the new Duckworks landing light and noticed the connector isn't the same one as the one I wired up last week (which I'd installed 2 or three years ago -- that one was a spade connector)

What is this connector?



The insulation on the wire also appears to be some sort of fabric, which I presume cannot be stripped with the traditional tools if I want to put a different connector on, which I do.

It is a bullet connector.

Cut it off and use whatever connector you like. The wire is high heat rated wire for use close to the bulb. Similar to what you see in household light fixtures...It can be stripped...
