Fuel Vent Line - In-Tank Positioning

At the end of the fuel vent line within the tank at the fuel filler inlet; how far from the upper skin did you position the tip of the fuel vent line (it is held in place by a tab at this point). Should it be positioned right up to the skin? I guess this is the high point in the tank after the wing is mounted and the plane is on level ground. How far beyond the tab did you extend the tube before it was terminated? Thanks.

As far as you can get it toward the upper, outboard corner of the tank, leaving sufficient clearance so that it will not become clogged.
