Default Wow! I am glad I built this thing!

After a full day of nasty stuff floated thru our area, I saw an opportunity to make the trip to the airport and get some more Phase I testing under my belt...

I spent 1.7hrs bobbin and weavin between what was left of the day's storms to be rewarded with an outstanding flight!!!

Sorry about the crappy Iphone pics...

On top of a 5500 ft scattered layer, changing course often to avoid the vertical towers:

Cruisin along @ 6500ft doing 166 KTS TAS.. I do not have my lower intersection fairings on yet and the pants, leg and upper intersection fairings and around the canopy are still rough.. Even still I can get really close to Van's numbers as it is today @ 8000ft and 75% power if I lean for best power. I expect that to get better once everything is slicked up...

After a 180, the GPS and the TAS/Wind indication on the Dynon seem to agree.

Hard to believe that over 10 years ago this dream started and now it is a reality!! Now if I can ever figure out how to pay for paint I will be golden!!!

Nice pic of your glass panel. And your TAS lookin good as well. I figure if I finally get to where you are, I may forget all about paint and pants--may want to just keep flying!
