Default Oil dipstick measurement needed

On my O-360 my oil dipstick tube looks WAY short. 6.5" It looks like it will be really far from the cowl. Could someone check the length of their O-360 oil dipstick and tell me what the length is?
Ther are 2 other lengths I see in the parts manual. 10.5" and 11.5"
Thanks
Al

My superior 0-360 tube is about 10.5, and it is very easy to work with.

Nordo,
Just bring a ladder with you and then you can reach down inside for the dipstick, no problem...
