Default Neatness - firewall sealant

I sealed & riveted my FW recess to the firewall this weekend. It's not the neatest job, fillets, a little blobby (technical term) into the corners.

I'm thinking that it's not one of those places I'm going to do anything over to red, even if it is a little . . . sealant sloppy (you know what I'm talking about, sparingly used, but a little outside the lines).

Good enough, or is a TA/DAR going to give me a hard time? If not, I'm building on.

I prefer ProSeal for this job. It resists fuel and is somewhat self-leveling, which RTV is not. A baggie with a corner snipped makes a great "cake icing" applicator.

BTW, continue building....
