Default Vent Hose vs. NACA Scoop

Because of the short neck on the NACA Scoop, I have not figured out how to clamp the fresh air hose to the eyeball. Any suggestions?

Default Something is missing

I can't follow the statements logic. I assume the hardware is the same across all models - Dangerous I know. On mine the hose connection to the NACA scoop is well provided for via a long compatible round extension from the scoop inside the airplane. Then there is a light colored fitting that mates with the black eyeball assembly on one side and the hose on the other. Is this piece missing? Your system may be a later version than mine but there has to be hose compatible fittings at both ends of the hose run.
