Default Trouble w/ Firewall Distring when attaching top skin

Hey - I was moving along well, match drilling the top skin (F-721) to the forward fuselage area. However, I'm having some trouble with the firewall.

When I clecoed the skin on, it is causing some disortion to the firewall in the corners. (See Picture below). Any suggestions as to how to eleviate this, or is a bit of distortion in the corners normal?

Thanks,
Jason

Hi Jason,

That skin is pretty stiff, & I had to do some additional roll-forming to get it to even come close to fitting. Looking at the bottom edge of the top skin, it appears that it isn't sitting flush against the side skin. Is there a chance that it's trying to push the firewall flat instead of the skin conforming to the curve of the firewall edge?

Charlie
