Default Rudder trailing edge bonding agent

Working on the rudder, has anyone used Belzona 1221 super E metal for bonding, was wondering if i can use it to bond the trailing edge?

Get you a small tube of fast set Proseal.

Might as well get used to the stuff in a limited fashion before the tanks....

There is no majic to the trailing edge. Some people do not use anything. The rivets do the work.... If you glue it together first and let the sealant cure, it can help make riveting easier and help you keep the edge straight.

Part Number = MC-236-B1/2

One more thing.

I got the 3.5 ounces thinking the 1 oz would not be enough.

The 1 oz would be plenty. I basically threw away 3 ounces after using 1/2 oz.

Here's the full 3.5 ounces...

Here's how much I put on the angle (both sides) before spreading it out. I didn't have to add any more after spreading with a Popsicle stick (I used a spare pieces of angle, but a Popsicle stick would do the same).

Here it is covering the angle.
