Default FAB Flapper Hinge Pin & Cable

In constructing my FAB, I didn't see anything about safety wiring the hinge pin for the flapper door. It seems to be captured in the assembly but it also looks like it could eventually viberate laterally & wear into the aluminum.

Did I miss something or is this a non-issue?

Also...Does the Van's-supplied cable (A-720?) perform ok over the long run?
Do the ratchet detents prevent it from backing out, causing addition of carb heat? Thinking of an upgrade here...

Thanks.
