Scrap ECi cylinder needed
I have 4 ECi experimental wide deck cylinders on my IO 360. When I installed them I struggled with adapting the baffles to the tapered fins on the cylinders. My mods have done ok for 120 hours but I want to try something different. It would be very helpful to have a damaged/worn out cylinder to work with so I can dabble with the parts without taking my RV-8 out of service.
Does anyone have a tapered style ECi 360 cylinder that is basically scrap that I could have? Obviously I'll either pick it up or pay for shipping. I'll even get it back to you if you would like.
I would ask ECi for one but they have bigger fish to fry with the recall. For the record I've been very happy with the cylinders and ECi was very helpful when I bought mine in November of 2008.
