Default Heated Dynon Controller installation

Pretty specific here, but does anyone have a recommendation on where and how to mount the control unit for the dynon heated pitot? A picture of what you did would be worth a million words. Thanks

I made also the same. I fabricated two spacers to separate the unit from the bulging part of the spar. Then I placed two platenuts behind, in order to be able to change the unit with minor efforts, should it break after wing riveting.

I just mounted mine to the far outside wing rib. Far easiest for access.

Default Heated Dynon Controller

I have a QB -9A and the wings were already closed. Sorry, I don't have a picture, but I can describe it fairly well. I mounted my controller on the inspection plate next to the pitot. It was easy to install and is now very easy to inspect. I just looked at it yesterday for my third annual condition inspection. Dan
