Default Throttle, mixture cable lengths

This is for anyone with an IO-360B1B (the fuel injected TMX 360 from Mattituck with vertical induction).

I need to order the throttle and mixture cables this week. The Van's catalog calls for a 50.5" length for both mixture and throttle for an IO engine. Have you found these lengths to be appropriate for these engines w/a vertical induction servo?

Bob,
Your best bet would be to measure. I used some extra static tubing and just measured from my engine controls to the fuel servo via my planned routing. On certain installations the lengths that Vans offers won't work. Both my mixture and throttle required lengths weren't offered by Vans, but I found the cables I needed at ACS.
