Default aircraft hardware - the good stuff

I'm finally getting around to putting some pieces together that will stay that way; so am ready to start using real fasteners. My intention is to optimize each fastener application; using shear bolts in shear applications and tension bolts in tension applications. I thought I had a pretty good collection of books/documentation but I'm coming up short on what I (think I) need. For shear and most routine spots I'm wanting to use NAS6203 / NAS6204 (replacements for NAS1103 / NAS1104); Aircraft Spruce and other have these and info is readily available. For tension spots (engine mount) I'm thinking NAS626 or MS9036 but I cannot find any good info on them. Anyone know where I can look / call ??

Why not use the fasteners that the plans call for?
