Default Lycoming "101" Help?

Hello everyone,

Do any of you know of a tutorial-type site, that explains Lycoming from A-Z? I am needing a 160hp in the future, and I would like to learn everything I can in the interim about Lycoming. In other words, if someone offered me some fantastic deal tomorrow, I don't feel I am educated enough to know the differences between all the specific model numbers, etc., etc.

Surely there is some site on the web that takes a novice through the learning curve? Any help (links) would be greatly appreciated.

Thanks in advance,
