Default Anywhere Map Duo

I too am intersted in the Duo. It certainly is feature rich and the updates are priced right. My concern is sun glare and washout in a canopy aircraft. I was able to get the nits value of the duo. It's 380, but I can't find the nits value of the Garmin 696 for comparison. My guess is that it is closer to 1,000. I just don't want to be tied in to Garmins data base update pricing.

Default Nits

I doubt that a Garmin is 1000 nits. My AvMap IV says it's 400 nits and it is a very readable screen.

Default Speaking of Nits

I did see some data on the extra bright Dynon EFIS and, as I recall, it has a screen that is over 1000 nits of brightness.
