Default Wing Walk Material

I have decided to get my plane painted after the fly off restriction and debugging phase. Is there a wing walk material out there that I can use before painting that is removable at time of painting? Thx CJ

The best wing walk material that I have found is skate board grip. The grit is very sharp and you don't slip on it at all. I figure that if the kids use it and beat on it the way they do it sure we sure won't ever wear it out. It sticks down very well and with a hair dryer or heat gun it will come off. It is also very inexpensive. Costs about $12.00 total for both wings.

Default Non-Skid tape

Just buy some non-skid tape from the aviation department at Home Depot. Cut it into strips and install in the wing walk area. Fly it that way 'till you're ready for paint, peel them off and clean the surface with some lacquer thinner.
Once painted (and the paint has cured) get the real stuff from Vans and install.

Worked for me for 150 hours...
