Default RE: One Down One To Go !!!! 2 down 2 more to go!!!!!

This AM had my annual physical. All is well. But just two short months ago after having spent the previous 8 or so months getting the plane ready / finished ... to fly I pretty much gave up on the important STUFFLike eatting right, exercise, time with the family.......So I did a self check middle of January and noted BP way up.....Blood Sugar up.....stomach....will lets just say it wasn't a pretty picture. So today at the Doc. blood pressure back to normal.....Blood sugar way down.....and the stomach looking much better for a 63 year old man. I started to eat right, exercise every day, spend more time with the family, and ....... being cool calm and collected or at least I try as I push the throttle forward!!!!

The moral to the story is eat right, exercise every day, and enjoy the important things in life.

So one down Now......One to go

This Wednesday afternoon I will be taking the Technician Test so I can join the APRS Gang.................My practice tests have ranged from the high 80's to a few 100%...................I think I am ready!!!

Have a great day and remember to take cae of yourself.......

Frank @ 1L8 ...RV7A... Flying

Default RE:Test done now $$$$$$$$$$$

Took the Technician Test this PM and passed it 34 right out of 35........I just know the guys correcting it didn't want me to get 100% so they inadvertantly miss corrected one of the questions...... Not true they did a great job of administering/correcting/and encouraging those of us that took the test.

The following sites really helped me get ready.

http://www.dixieham.org/ my local Ham Radio Group....

http://n4maa.us/BobTech.htm great study guide .... Thanks Doug

Great sites to take practice tests

So now on to getting the Microtrac RTG and
Get it installed and
Start dropping crumbs..............................

Thanks from all you aprs guru's for the help and direction so far!!!!

Frank @ 1L8 ...RV7A ... Flying and soon will be tracking
