Default Cabin heater valve

Have any of you considered installing your cabin heater valve so that you could select outside air, exhaust-heated air, or a mix to get the right temperature?

Default Someone did that ...

...though I can't recall who. There's a builder's site out there somewhere that shows exactly that.
