Air show, Columbus Georgia

The Thunder in the Valley air show will be Saturday/Sunday March 20 and 21.

Its been a pretty good show for the last ten years or so and this year they were approved for pyrotechnics, oh boy! The airspace will be closed by notam, I think 12 noon to 5 pm, but you can check for exact times. The airport will be operational in the morning and again after the air show. They are dividing the ramp into two areas so fly in airplanes will not be accessible to the public. Just something you might want to check out if your in the area, raising money for local youth groups.

I will be at the local EAA group's tent, passing out flyers from Van's aircraft to everyone I see. I contacted them a few months back and they sent me about 300 flyers, 100 catalogs, calendars, and a shirt! You got to love Vans!

Its too bad they did not invite any RV's to perform there.
Would have made it more relevant to the RV forum too.
