Question Oil in QB Wing Seams

When I unboxed my QB wings I found they had been sprayed with oil - lots of it. I have cleaned it of the outside of the skins but it has migrated into all the skin joints and I could see it had marked the inside of the skins where it had come through. When I took the tanks off, the spar flanges were dripping in oil. I have to get this out of the seams or the paint won't stick. I have been feeding degreasing solvent into the joints and the sucking the residue out with a powerful vacuum cleaner but this looks like a never ending job and there will always be a risk the paint won't take.

Has anyone else had this problem and resolved it.

John

Oh yeah, the lease fun part of the building. The more time you spend here the happier you will be after the painting.

Good luck
