Default Mystery port?
Hi all:

A buddy is working on his RV-4 and he wants to know what is the port shown with the arrow in this photo. The engine is a new Lycoming IO-320.

That would be "oil to cooler".

Question Interesting...
...that Lycoming ships with a flared fitting pre-installed in the optional "oil to cooler" port, but does not put one in the "oil from cooler" port....

Is there also a fitting in the usual "oil to cooler" port in the center of the accessory case?

I am yhe owner of this engine and no, there is not a fitting in the other oil to cooler port. I think I will have to use the other port because the breather line is blocking the fiting in question. Thanks for the help!
