Question Maintenance manual / Operating manual

I looked on Van's site, searched VAF and checked the manual but could not find an Operating Manual nor a Maintenance Manual for the RV9. I found one for the 12 on the Van's website and that is realy what I was looking for (for my 9A).

To be able to register the plane in the Netherlands, I have to provide a copy of the Operating Manual from the manufacturer. One could argue that that would be me and thus I would have to make one myself, but as I understand it, it should be supplied by the kit-manufacturer?!

Are these manuals available at all (maybe I didn't look well enough), or what have others done?

Regards, Tonny.

These manuals are left up to the individual. They are not required for experimental amateur-builts in the U.S. In the U.S. you operating limitations qualify as the manual.
You found one for the RV-12 because it IS required for experimental light-sport.

Default POH, Checklists, etc.

I've been researching POH, checklists, etc. and there are a number of examples available on builder sites. Many are available in MS Word format and are easily modified.

RV8 example:

Rocket example:

Good luck,
Mike
